Just waiting for my new HD shorties to arrive in the mail. Hopefully they don't come with brewer's droop.

My buddy bought a telescopic one off of e-bay, and it work's great! I think he paid $17.44 including shipping! It really looks like it was made for his street glide, and when he use's his t-bag, he lowers it out of the way, and still get's good reception!

What is brewer's droop???

I have an HD short antenna. I like it, but it does have a **** eyed tip, which seems to be temporarily fixed and then goes back to **** eyed...

IF you can't find anything else and settle on these guys, don't buy the fiberglass. I bought three, 2 for the ultra and 1 for my car which snapped half doing 70 mph. the ultras have been glued and are still loose. Three separate emails to customer service went unanswered. I wasted over $50 with this company. Hope you don't do the same. Just my 2 cents, take it for what its worth!!

Yep.....very pleased with my shortie 16" Hog Tail antenna
from Antennax......
Mounts to the origional bracket, and won't poke my eye out
when getting into left side saddlebag.
