Loctite on antenna

Loctite on antenna
Morning guys, Question for you, will loctite on the threads of my shorty antenna reduce the reception of the antennas? I lost an antenna off my street glide, so I want to replace the whips on my ultra with the shorty antenna from e glide goodies, I just don't want to lose them during a ride. I don't listen to FM all that much but I sill want it to work properly. Thanks, Jim
