Just bought and installed a "shorty antenna" from E-Glide Goodies, and I'm impressed! The reception of both AM and FM is outstanding and I dont' hit the antenna on the overhead garage door everytime I pull in.
I've had several buddies ask me about it and thought I'd post this.
Note to Fire Hawk: follow the advice from these other riders re the CB. Acording to the literature, this shorty antenna is not desinged for use with the CB.
Try calling a trucker running ahead of you on your cell phone! I've had drivers call back and warn me about standing water, deer, when it's clear to pass, etc. If you have CB capability (Ultras), you will soon understand and appeciate.
