5000mi. Service...can I do it myself?
But...
As far as laced spoked wheels go, I would highly recommend they be checked by a jorneyman bike tech that has some wheelsmith skills.
After uploading it change the file extender "txt" to "xls", the file should be renamed to "MaintSched.xls". After that is done you will be able to open it with Excel.
MaintSched.zip unzip this file to get MaintSched.txt then rename to MaintSched.xls

I can't believe Harley can charge what they do with a straight face. All we are looking at is an oil change and a few basic checks. And according to the service spreadsheet, I got taken for an additional service. My dealer has a 2500 service and a 7500 service as I remember when I took my rig in for the 2500mi. service. I was thinking at the time, I have already had the 1000mi. done and now I am having the 2500 done. Within a short time I will be back for the 5000 and then the 7500...on and on. I don't see a what they do measuring up to the service price. We are talking around $350.00 each time and more.
BTW- Thanks so much for the spreadsheat
I bought a 1/2 inch torque wrench from Habor Frieghts for like $20.
It looks well made but I still worry about it not working and twisting off the bolt.
Has anyone had experience with a cheap one from Habor Frieghts?
