Default sweeper bars upper brake line?

If you installed Khrome Werks sweeper bars on your SG and changed the brake lines, what + length upper line did you use?

From searching the forum it looks like +3. Can someone confirm that for me?

I used a stock brake line from a Road Glide. It's a little longer than the SG line. Actually it was the dealer who made the change.

I've already changed the clutch and throttle/idle cables to Magnum Chromite II. I need to know the + length to order from them to match. But thanks for the heads up.

I did not have to change anything but the bars on my 2007 FLHTC. I rerouted the clutch cable out of the fairing and the brake lines were long enough. And while I had her tore down I went ahead and painted the inner fairing. I saw you have a black pearl bike the same as me. I painted my inner fairing using five cans of black Krylon fusion. Sand well and use light coats and turned out great.

When I put the sweepers on my 04 EGC all I had to change was the throttle/idle and clutch. The stock brake line fit fine. On my 08 I changed the clutch cable also, and the brake line still fit fine with the ABS setup. If you are changing the cables anyway to match the Chromite, and if it makes you feel better, then just get a +1 or +2 and you'll be sure to have enough. IF you were keeping it stock black vinyl then I'd leave it alone.

As DAWG stated, unless you JUST want to change all those cables, then the only one you REALLY have to change is the clutch cable, I went with +4 on mine and everything else works great.

I wanted to change the cables to braided, thats why I went with Chromite II. I like the way they look. +4 clutch, +2 throttle idle, they work fine. I'm riding the bike now with the stock brake line straightend out. Maybe I didn't do as good a job straightening as some of you, but I think it looks like crap, so I'm getting the brake line to match for Christmas. Any one who has actually changed it, what length did you use?
