I am very happy for you, your wife and that the ones involved in the accident are going to be ok.

I think it is great that you are telling people how well the dealer treated you. We need more happy endings.

Wow! They are really doing a great job taking care of you for this. They should it was their fault. Glad the tech made it out with "minor" injuries.

See if you can buy your old bike back cheap. Sell the good parts. A lot of the time you can keep them for a couple thousand. Of course the dealer probably already put in dibs on it to try and recoupe some of there loss. I wonder if Andy still has a job after all this is over. Running a stop makes him at fault. Glad everyone was ok and it all seams to be korked out.

Glad that it all came out okay for you, and glad the tech is still around to tell the story (albeit hopefully much wiser for the experience).

Well it sounds like it all worked out, congrats on the '09 and enjoy it! I'm sure you will.

Just another example of a business owner doing the right thing on their own, no lawyer, no suing, no unrealistic demands, etc.
