My first words of advice:

DONT BUY A SADDLEMEN

See here for details. Worst experience you can imagine. Crap quality and crappier customer service. Check this mess out, photos included.

After all that I bought a Mustang and love it. Even though mine is a solo, I would highly recommend a Mustang for anyone. The quality is great, it's been very comfy and the removable, fully adjustable backrest is great. And the customer service has also been very good.

IMHO of course!!

Mustang Ultra Touring seat. Accepts a driver backrest.

I found the Deep Bucket Sundowner better than Corbin or Mustang.

Zood, I might also suggest the Mustang one-piece touring seat. This one has the buttons, which might not be your style, but it is available in a plain finish as well. This seat has a slot for a backrest - either Mustang's or HD's will fit. The bucket is not as deep as the HD Sundowner or stock Ultra seat, but still does a good job of "placing" the rider. The foam is denser than the HD seats, so it takes a bit to break it in, but it's very comfortable after conforming to your anatomy. The passenger portion of the seat may be a bit "bulbous" for your application, but overall it's a pretty attractive seat.

I like the looks of that. My application is a bit more than just placing a seat on a touring model.
Im doing a custom build here.
http://www.rjsoriginals.bizland.com/...ld/93trike.htm

My build is with a 1993 EGC that I'm converting into a trike. I know that there were frame changes that allowed the rider to sit lower on their scoots over the years, compared to a 1993. But I have the option of raising a section of my OEM rear fender to accommodate the needed height or arch in the newer seat pans. Im also looking into buttons. that in fact I get a seat like what your showing with buttons. the buttons will actually have a straight through hole in them so water will not accumulate or pool in the seat. I think I recall seeing buttons of this nature. But if I cant locate them. I will make my own. Whats the part number for that seat John.

Thanks again, RJ/zoood

Default question for Pastor John

Pastor John, one more thing. How does that seat hook-up underneath at the front end of the seat? You have a picture?

Pastor John, i went with your suggestion. I got the seat to fit just right. Its a good looking seat as well. I also ordered the back rest but had to do an exchange. The one they sent me looked like crp.

thanks for your input, RJ
