Seat Recommendations Needed

This seat thing is tricky.I have owned several Corbin,German and Japanese bikes,worth every dime and used ones are a steel.My Ultra stock seat was good for my butt,but my legs at 30" inseam made me worry at stops especially with my honey on the back.My research says the Reach seat is lower and narrower but puts you down in the saddle.The Mustangs and Corbins while suppierior than stock are wider makin my liddle legs shorter.For my condition many are adding the Sundowner or going to CandC or Mean City for work on the stock seat.I switched shocks for 13"std. to 12" HD hd.This seams to have helped.
Zooood queston?Could you explain how you made an 08 Touring seat work on your bike.Can we do it to our bikes?
