The black is pretty when it is clean, but it does collect dust. Part of the fun of owning a harley is constantly wiping it down. I have a red pickup and it collects dust just like my HD.

This is where "The Bom" is handy to have around. A quick wipe down with that stuff and the bike looks like you just spent all day detailing it! I use that, and give the bike a good wash every week or two (or after a buggy ride).

I have a 06 EG, Black. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose BLACK again. All colors collect the same dirt and bug guts. Black or any dark color just shows up more. Choose White if you want the least amount of Show. {same amount of dirt and bug guts, just Less show}. As far as I am personally concerned, Harley only makes ONE color and that is BLACK,That's Vivid BLACK. I clean after every ride, and that Traditional
Black is worth the effort. If you want to Dance you have to Pay the Fiddler...........hdman

I gotta go with hdman on this one..I live in the country, my driveway is 1/4 mi. long "dirt"....Awwwwwwwww!!! what can I say, there's only two colors on my bikes. Black and chrome

Livin' in El Paso, my scooter gets filthy sitting in the garage! The wind kicks up and picks up a dust cloud that seeps through every crack and crevice in the house! There is, no kidding, a half inch thick line of cake-flour fine dust collected on the inside threshold of my garage door right now. My California duster that my wife bought a few years ago is turning out to be handier than I thought. Black does show the dirt, but it sure is nice when clean! Yeah, I'd do it again.
