That's why I bought a silver bike, besides the fact that everyone else has a black and chrome harley. Don't get me wrong, black looks great, but an OCD type individual such as myself would be spending 23 out 24 hours of the day trying to keep the dust off of it. Anyway, nice bike. I always wanted a black car also, until I realized that it was the same kinda thing to keep it clean. So my last vehicle was a light gray, it doesnt show dust liike other colors.

I like black and carry a micro-fiber cloth with me for the end of the ride. 10 minutes of work and it's beautiful black again. A little bug spray if there's some crud on the fairing. Not much work to make the saddlebags shine so I can see my smile!

Hey Blue, what do you use with that micro-fiber cloth?

I would dump the duster. Alot of those type things marketed to dust furniture are treated will stuff to hold dust on them and actually lays down some of that on whatever you are dusting....hence it attracts dust.
I believe you would be better off with a feather duster..try Buffalo Mikes. FK1 actually makes a QD that is anti-static and that helps a lot too.
I hate to disagree with anyone, but my dad owns a 50k show streetrod. All of his buddies with streetrods and show cars are using the California Dusters. I picked one up for hubbys new bike the day we brought it home along with some microfiber cloths for washing. They have a great website and quite a few different products ...I didn't hesitate to grab a mini one for the new glide. Everyone has their own preference and what works for them and I appreciate the different ideas posted in the thread
