Go to SoLow Motorcycles and give them a call. I've got their lowering kit on my Roadglide and have had for over 3 years with no problems. The ride is much better than the HD Low Profile Shocks. Can't help you on the handlebar question.

Terry.

P.S. We need to do something about your user name. PM me and I can change it for you.

OK, so their website does not work. I found them on ebay though if you just search SoLow Lowering Kits.

Lower = Better in my opinion. Lower center of gravity always makes me feel more comfortable. Unless you really get crazy in the twisties, you'll love the flat-footed feel at stop lights

Doesn't sound like SoLow makes the lowering kits for '08 and '09's.

I had lowering hardware on my 06 RG and the air shock blew a seal. I'm not sure if it was because of the lowering kit. I replaced the stock air shocks with a set of Progressive 440s Heavy Duty shocks. There was a small sheet with the shocks that warned against using them with lowering hardware. Might be something to that.

TJ products makes a kit that lowers it 1 inch and DOESN'T change the shock angle. So far so good.......

try a REACH seat first... lowering the bike will cut down the suspension a bit.. and if you lower one end you'll need to lower the other..... seat will be cheaper, faster, and..... most dealers will allow you to try it on , on YOUR bike...
