I had a credit at a local accessory shop and decided to buy a service manual. They could not get the Harley factory manual but said the Clymer manual ($35.00) was a good one. I muddled through some service points but it was difficult to find what I was looking for and it did not have everything I wanted to see.
I received the Harley factory manual today and I already see a difference. Things are easier to find and the manual is more complete. Earlier this year I read a thread where someone posted the aftermarket manuals were POSs. In my short experience, I must agree.
I collect Clymer manuals and save them because soon, trees will be endangered and there won't be anymore toilet paper. Those useless manuals will finally come to some use.
