First 1K Service was included as part of the sale although probably would have let the Dealer do the 1st one this dealer has a decent Rep for good service work.. and they did do a good job. But from now on will be me that does it...

Slacker8 - Tkx for the invite! I won't have 1k that early though, we'll hook up another time (I hope). I'm up by the mall they should've made into a prison. I didn't have a thing stolen until they built that thing. The girls love it though.
What's 2yr? Don't we service per miles?

2 year is factory warranty period. Yes we service per miles and no, doing your own service will not void the warranty.

I was told by my dealer when I purchased my 2009 Street Glide that if they did not do all of the maintenance services that my warranty would be voided. ***'s Harley Davidson in Rock Hill S.C.. Is there any way to validate this through Harley? As hard as times are it seems to be really ridiculous to spend 250 bucks on an oil change.hyperfocal - Seems like you have an insight on the extended warranty, any info would be helpful, thinking of getting it.
