Test rode a demo SG 2 different times. '06 and '09. Truly hated the head buffeting. If I decided to purchase taller windshield for the SG. Wouldn't look good on it so I decided to go up to Ultra.

Don't get me wrong. SG's nice ride. Good Luck with your choices.

Choices....choices.....you demod both and like both.....decisions-decisions...I love the ride of the tour patform and for longer hauls you cant go wrong....even my short rides in and around Gettysburg...the tour platform is still managable. Buy both.....right...Good luck...

If your gona spend $20,000, why not try the EG's and the RK too? Take your time, you'll figure out what bike fits ya. Most guys here are going to tell you to get what they ride.

I have both an 07 heritage and a 09 street glide. Put 27,000 miles on the heritage in 2 seasons and 5,500 on the sg in 3 months. you cannot go wrong with either one both do well on the long haul and both do well around town. which ever one you pick you will not be disapointed both are fine machines.

Went from a '05 Heritage to a '06 SG.
Would love to have kept the Heritage.
If I only had the choice of one...the SG.

My neighbor has a Fatboy setup like a Heritage, He loves it but on long rides he wishes he bought a road king, his wife can't ride more than half hour at a time on the back.
