Default Gasket sealer????

I don't know why you would use gasket sealer to install slip-ons either.
I do know that about half of the time you will need to use a new muffler clamp because once you loosen it up enough to take it off, it will likely break when putting it back on. So, be prepared to buy new one(s). Besides that, reused ones will sometimes leak causing a decel splattering or popping.

I bought the Rush's with the 1.75" baffles. For me I thought it was a little too loud and ordered a 1.5" baffle. The change was perfect for me. Good low rumble and not too loud. I was surprised the amount of the difference there was between the two baffles. With either the 1.75 or the 1.5, no need to do anything with air or fuel.

Well, "how loud the smaller baffles really are" is totally subjective, meaning, the loudness will vary all over the place depending on who's listening to them. But, having said that, I bought Rush slip-ons with 2.0" baffles in them, and, what I found really quickly was that, in spite of my 64 year-old hearing with some hearing loss, I found them too loud. I couldn't hear the music on my bike.

I installed 1.5" baffles and everything is MUCH better now. I don't notice much, if any, difference in the bike's performance.

Where did you find the baffles for $45? Everywhere I look they are more like $65.
Thanks!

Just put 1.75 on mine last night. Sounds good in garage, can't wait until I get it on the road to hear them.

So much has been said about the performance of the 1.75", I was wondering about the 1.5". Thanks for that info.
