Another camshaft/performance question
I was talking to my brother tonight about helping me do a cam swap on my 07 RK. We've been looking at all the cams that have been discussed here and he asked about advancing the cam timing.
Andrews has a 4 degree advance sprocket listed on their website. He's a car guy and says he has made a lot of low end torque on motors just by advancing stock cams. Has anyone done that instead of doing a swap? He's thinking that advancing the stock cams may bring the torque down to the lower rpm ranges similar to the Andrews 26 cams.
Any experience or thoughts?
