Big City Thunder Baffles
I've got a set of Samson silver bullet fishtails on my '04 RK Custom. Anybody using the BCT monster baffles to take some of the harshness out of the sound? The silver bullets are a one pc. construction, so the baffles will have to go in the head pipes. Thanks.

Hey Mr. Bill, there are a few people that I know of on this forum that have used those baffels to make Reinharts louder... not sure if your trying to make your pipes louder or quiter... not sure what harshness you are speaking of... I'm sure someone will give you some feedback on this one! But those baffels are or at least were a hot topic on this forum before, have you searched those baffels on this forum? Might want to give that a try also in the mean time.

I just put a set of those in the Electraglide Standard. I don't know if they will smooth out the sound at all. I gutted my harley touring mufflers and tried it with them empty and just the Monster Baffles in the head pipes. Was a loud, harsh sound. Then put 7 inches of baffles back in with insultion wrapped around them and that really gave it a deeper and quieter sound that Im really happy with. Aren't the fish tails known for a sharper sound?
