If you want warm and quality, try http://www.foxcreekleather.com/ because not only are their jackets made in the USA, they are made of heavy leather and all come with a zip out liner for added warmth. Works great for me!
Go to a Harley Davidson Dealer - you are going to want a warm weather jacket. I have a HD Competition Jacket - with a removable liner - but it takes you down to 32 degrees. It is heavy though. So expect that. I think they make newer ones that don't weigh nearly what mine does. Good Luck finding one.
I just bought the FXRG leather. It is described as mid weight, but it is as
warm as any leather jacket I have tried. I stopped in Independence VA.
at the Fox Creek distributor and tried several different jackets and
none felt nearly as comfortable as the FXRG (My opinion).
HD is in the process of changing the FXRG line so it may be hard to find one right now.
It may be worth waiting for the new line to be available to see the
difference. When the new line comes out you may be able to find the
old ones at a discount. Good luck with whatever you decide.
I was hopeing for a jacket with H/D on it if I could
I'd rather it said "Made in the U.S.A." on the inside, then "Harley Davidson" on the outside.
(But that's just me) Same with vest too. Make mine American made please because both are too close to my skin. Besides, I'd be embarassed to pull off my jacket or vest anywhere and have the made in CHINA labels showing for all to see.
