Default Saddlebag Protection

I love my new 09 Street Glide but am a little concerned about road chips or scratches to the hard bags. Anyone using the saddlebag bra on theirs? Other suggestions for bag protection? Also thinking about the new "mustache" engine guard instead of adding highway pegs.

I use the lid covers from Ridetek. I like them better than the HD ones.

I've heard the bag bras work good for protection. That and a set of bag guards to keep your passengers from scratching the lids seems like it might work.

I use the HD lid covers and love them. They don't protect from road debris but they do keep boots from doing damage.

Some sign companies use a clear static-cling material. Just cut to fit, a little soapy water, and smooth into place.

I've been using the stuff for several years with good results.

3M clear product works very well - and Mustache guards are great. I hardly use the foot peg feature I just like the lines and they are smaller and just more Street Glide looking IMO.
