I feel they send the surveys out for a reason, to find strengths and weaknesses. I would have been honest, filled it out and send it back. I think I would have told the salesman at the time of pickup about the shoddy detail and shown him.
I would call and fill it out honestly. Where was the saleman when you took delivery. Don't forget they are probable paying someone min wage to wash and dry only (not detailing) and charging you big $ for setup. When I use to take mine to the dealer I wouldn't have them wash it since there always seemed to be a scratch or two, On a new bike I would think the Saleman would check it over.

All 3 of my bikes I did a walk around before takin full ownership of the bikes,if anything wasnt right I brought it to thier attention and once it was corrected I signed off on my bike......
