My Salesman Ex State Trooper , Nice Guy! ...Did he Follow Through ? No ...IMHO....
He stressed how well Steve would detail my Bike for Delivery.....Most of you saw my Garage, I'm a bit anul when it comes to cleaning...But I mean the Wheels and Rims were not even touched.Water spots on Chrome... I wasnt happy .

I would fill out the survey plus call the salesman. They can not change issues if they do not know about them. I know for me I was not happy and made them take it right back in the shop and detail again and they where happy to do it.
Due to the recession the dealer may have lightened their work force. Thunder creek HD has all their bikes ready to go when they hit the showroom; already detailed and fueled up. They also clean the bikes after service but it is not detailed cleaning. Almost all dealers cut the detail short. You are most likely similar by thinking. I am very strict how my bike is cleaned and by who. When I have my bike serviced I tell then not to clean it; I will do that. This is really a rather small thing. Think about it
I would fill out the survey like nothing happened; it is too small to be concerned about. If it does effect you that much call the salesman and let him know you are not happy with the cleaning that he promised. He will (most likely) make arrangements for it to be taken care of.
I bought a new Honda VTX, I requested the bike be cleaned. They took it outside and rinsed the bike off with a water hose. That was it. I did not complain as I saved a few gran on the deal.
just my thoughts

I agree with BadPiggy. Fill out the survey HONESTLY. What is wrong here it that no gives a s**t anymore. 20K for a bike. That alone should have guaranteed that it was done right the FIRST time. Why give someone a 2nd chance to do something that should have been done right the 1st time? DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME is what makes a GREAT DEALER stand out from the rest. I don't care if it's deatailing, repairs, OTD pricing, etc etc. If we take our business to the dealers that WANT our business, the bad ones will eventually go away.
