Where did you buy your bike? Seacoast or Big Moose or ??
No one is going to clean and detail the bike like you will. Besides, you yourself mentioned how you consider yourself a bit "****" when it comes to cleaning and detailing. Unless the bike was outright dirty or something, I would give them a "pass" on the grade. Picked up a new car for my Daughter this past summer and that dealership too detailed the car, yet I easily found several spots missed. So what, its not permanent. Clean and detail your own bike to your own satisfaction and move on. Dealerships (including yours) are not going to share your **** passion (no pun intended.)
Hopefully you bought the bike to ride, not look at so it will get dirty again and again in short order.
My delivery was so screwed up I almost walked away from the deal. That was in September. I still have yet to get any survey from Harley, although I do get all the Hog stuff.
I say be honest and explain your concerns in order to improve the system. It's not personal, it's dollars and cents.
