I have three questions pertaining to the referenced Premium Oil Cooler Kit (GMA Part No 26155-07).
First: any insight?
Second: will it fit seamlessly with a Chrome Voltage Regulator (GMA Part No 74622-06) or actually will the Chrome Voltage Regulator fit seamlessly with the Premium Oil Cooler?
Third: the kits come with two oil line hoses any insight as to replacement braided lines perhaps made by Russell or another? As many of you know it is absolutely critical that one also purchase a braided line when installing the HD Oil Pressure gauge.
Thanks HDForums members my Harley wouldnt be what it is without the knowledge and insight I have got from this forum.
I put one on my 08 Ultra it will fit with the chrome regulator but not the chrome cover I also added the PC cooling fans behind the cooler for when Im in stop and go traffic as for braided lines I am not aware of any other than covering them yourself with one of the kits but they are probably out there ,as for does it work well its still hot but Im in south florida so its always hot any extra cooling is worth it
Is there a minimum post per year?
I installed the HD oil cooler and if you can change your own oil you can install it. It was very easy. No need in changing the hoses unless you just want the look. I heard you need to do a little dremel work to get the chrome reg cover to work but not sure as i just did not want that piece.
