Purchased my PC III from FuelMoto and it came pre-programmed for my setup, but I was getting some decel popping. Pulled the plugs, and they look good, not too lean or rich. Went ahead and reset the throttle position with my laptop, and it fixed the decel pop completely. I see Jamie recommends resetting it, and I would have to agree. Thanks Jamie! I appreciate the help!

If you're happy with the PCIII's performance I would keep it. The PCV has some additional features most people wouldn't want or need, which you can read about in the PDF manual that's downloadable from their site. Otherwise it is basically the same thing as a PCIII in a smaller package.

The map switch can be attached to the PCV and is used in the same way as the PCIII except you don't need a Multifunction Hub, and you can use any simple on-off switch. Without AT it toggles between two base maps, like the PCIII. With AT it toggles between AT (closed-loop) and the base map (open-loop). I have Jamie's relatively rich base map installed on the PCV and AT trims it to meet my leaner Target AFR's. When the going gets hot in summer traffic I flip the switch and it runs on the rich base map, cooling things down. To me it's a perfect setup for optimal gas mileage and cooling.

...and the most important question, where do you get all the money to spend on your bike?
I'm independently wealthy.

Wouldn't it be almost as quick and easy to hit "Reset" and set both closed and open throttle? Then you have them both set properly. Could it be because open throttle isn't usually out of adjustment?
