Chrome plate my tank emblems?

Chrome plate my tank emblems?
I havent seen my bike in like 2 months. But aren't the tank emblems on a SG black chrome? I am one for small changes. I was thinking about having my emblems chrome plated? Not sure what it would cost or where to get it done. Would there be a noticable change?

Mine are stuck on the wall in the garage and I just looked, they're smoked chrome. Mine's an '08.

They are vacuum plated smoke chrome. Since they are plastic, you would have to get them vacuum plated again (regular chroming will melt them). Good luck finding a vacuum plater who can do this...let us know what you find.
