Default Windshield Rattle

I hope someone can help me. I have a 2007 Road King Custom with a stock Harley windshield. I have this annoying rattling noise coming from the windshield when i ride. I especially hear it when the front end flex's, I take it off and no more noise. Any suggestions. Buy the way i have tried another windshield and it does the same thing.

They are the heavy wire thingeys that you put your fingers in to pull up when removing the shield. You can bend these down somewhat so they remain under tension and stop the rattle.

Or you could just take them off like I did. I had the same problem

You should be able to move or shake things with your hands and find out what is loose. Or you may be missing one of the rubber bushings. If it happened with different shields than you are probably missing one of the four bushings or not installing it correctly on the bushings. Two at the bottom and two at the top where the wire latches are.

On more suggestion. Check and make sure that your clutch cable is not against the windshield, especially if you have after market chrome or stainless cables.
