Default 12v trigger for amp

Hi all,

08 Street Glide. I have a set of Kenwood Excelon 5 1/4" speakers and an Alpine 3522S sitting around for several years, trying to put them in good use.

Question: where should I tap in the 12v trigger behind the fairing so the amp (hence stereo) will turn on in Acc. position as well instead of just IGN.?

Thanks in advance, ride safe.....

Thanks LVRick. The pigtail from the headlight as well as the cig. lighter power wire will work. Both IGN. and ACC.

Now see if I can use a fiberglass fishrod to run power wire back to battery so I don't have to remove gas tank Will get to it next couple of days.

fishing rod is a good idea....i ended up buying a wire fishing reel for use fishing wires through walls. If the fishing rod doesn't work, go to lowes, ace, or home depot and pick up one of those before removing tank.

I used a piece of 10awg wire. It pushed through pretty easily.
