For your own peace of mind, and for some documentation for future use, put it on a dyno and have some steady throttle AFR traces done at various rpms between 2K and 3500. This will confirm that the AFR is good (or let you know if you have a problem) and give you some documentation down the road if you have an engine problem and the dealer or HD tries to claim the muffler change was a contributing factor.
I did this when I had a fuel managment device installed and later had a chrome issue on my heat Rinehart heat shields shortly after their warranty expired. Rinehart agreed to replace the heat shield free of charge after I sent them the dyno results showing good AFR.
Since there is no tuning involved, my local dealer charged me $50 for the dyno time.
