HD Diamondback cable questions
Hey guys, I don't know if any of you will remember, but a while back I had to get the dealer to put on a new cable for my clutch. The one they put on at first was getting bound up and chewed into pretty well. They put a shorter one on to try to fix it. It seems to have worked, but I noticed something odd when I was wiping the scoot down the other day. My clutch cable is Diamondback from the lever down to the adjuster, but from the adjuster to where it goes into the tranny, it is black....is this correct on the HD cables? I know the drag specialty cables are stainless all the way. I can't figure out why they would swap it out though???? That wouldn't have any bearing on the length of the cable would it?
