Fitted 2 RAM mounts on my bike to give me some options. I carry a video camera, a Sat Nav, a cup holder, not all at once but I like the idea of keeping my options open. I used 3 different sizes of RAM arms and I can interchange as required.

I did the same thing, only I used the loops around the handlebars to mount the RAM on each side. Your set-up is cleaner looking, but I don't mind the clamps on the bars. I hard wired to the extra wires on the headlight. I was going to use the cig lighter but would have to splice wires.
I keep a ram mount on the left side handlebar for my Zumo 550, and i also have one mounted on the left side saddlebag guard (by my left hip) for a Cobra Handheld CB radio. for a while i used it on the handbar as well, but i round it distracted me too much being mounted that high.
Wow, you just gave me a great idea on how to do mine- thanks a bunch.
One question- what is the circular silver thing in the upper left hand corner of the dash (above the cupholder in last photo)?
