I suppose that half of us have tried to like the KW, but found there was just too much wind noise from the air hitting the side of the helmet.
The other half of us wish that the KW was better, because it looks terrific. They're in denial about the real aerodynamics. Or they can't find anyone to sell it to!
6'2" and the wind noise was BRUTAL!!! I sold mine and picked up a 15" cee baileys dark gray euro, looks a lot like the KW flair, but without the wind noise according to Philm our test pig! I haven't installed mine yet I'm waiting for a bit warmer weather

I'm 5'10" and am in the first category.
I'm 6'3" and fall in the first catgegory - sold mine on eBay after about 3 weeks. Now running a 15" Cee Bailey Euro - good looks, much less wind noise around the ears - it's a keeper. I should also mention my seat is ~ 2" lower than stock and I have lowers installed.
I am 5'8", have the 12" kw, and like it. although I do seem to have a windshield fetish, and may try the 15" cee bailey if I ever have the spare coin for it. at your height, you will have a lot of wind... its your call whether you mind the wind or not... just gotta remember you're riding a motorcycle not a honda accord.

You are correct it is a motorcycle!! Wind is one thing but noise that makes you bleed out of the ears is something else!! I am 6'3 and if I slumped down it was not bad, but not comfortable!! Otherwise forget about it!
I believe Pastor John said it best. It looks great and my wife actually loves the look of my RG now. I have tried to accept the noise and have even started wearing ear plugs. The noise is just terrible. I will be going to a Cee Bailey very soon. Will probably give my Clock Works away.
Edit: I am 6" and the way the KW is, it shoots an air stream right past each ear. And as someome said, I am on a motorcycle and expect wind, I just don't like gale force in my ear drums. It drowns outmy tunes.
I am new to the forum and really apprciate the feedback. you guys just saved me some grief and $$$$$. Thanks
Think I'll look into the cee bailey or clearview shields.
Does anyone have any Info on Windvest windshilds? I just bought a 14" while I was in Laughlin this week, They are saying that this will take most of the noise away around my ears and the air will go over my head by 4", is this true?
They will be sending it to me next week, so if anyone thinks i wasted my money let me know for I can cancel the order.
