Best wishes for successful surgery and speedy recovery. Attitude and doing what your doctor tells you to do will assure the quickest route back to riding.

I didn't have a bike at the time, got the bike a while after getting the full release. I had a full release after about 3 months -- they said I could don everything after that (although I still can't dance, or play the piano). But I was driving after only 3 weeks, and I wouldn't think riding would be a lot different. They told me the gentle vibration of walking was good for the healing, so maybe riding would have been good therapy? Ask your doc, but don't overdo it, bro.

Best wishes for a full recovery.

Maybe I have the same problem as you. So far they haven't found the cause of my arm/hand numbness. Scary!
