pc111 throttle set
Yes i did a search, but still having problems. It is programmed from Jamie, but when i put the disc in the laptop all i get is an infomercial. Do i need the 9volt if the pc111 is on the bike? We plugged the pc111 into laptop and nothing happened. Before you guys rip my head off, i am a baby boomer and not electronically savy.

Here ya go... just did the install yesterday: (Bike is NOT running)
Install the PC software to a notebook computer, connect the PCIII to the computer via USB, and launch the software. Under "Power Commander Tools" click on "Set Throttle Position." Connect the 9V adapter in the kit to the PCIII and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Without moving the throttle click on "Reset" and after a few seconds twist the throttle to 100% until the number under "Open" settles in a second or two. Close that window and the throttle and look in the main window for "% Throttle," which should say "0%". Twist the throttle again to 100% and it should show accordingly in the digital readout. If not, repeat the procedure. If you can only get 99% or so instead of 100% that's close enough. Turn everything off, remove the USB cable, replace the side cover and saddlebag, and you're ready to roll.

With the 08-09 DBW bikes it is a good idea to check the closed throttle position with the bike at operating temp, but we find that on these models the TPS is very stable and in most applications does not to be reset. Also note that on the DBW wire bikes the open throttle position can only be set under full load such as on a dyno.
