Hi,
I'm an industrial design student in Milwaukee working on re-designing the dashboard/instrument panel of a harley touring bike. I'm looking for any kind of suggestions on what to include or not include in my design. Also, any information on what you like or dislike about your dashboard would be helpful.
Thanks.
Add an Oil temp gauge. Remove the Air temp gauge.
It would be cool to have a design that includes an optional space to have a dash mounted GPS.
Also bigger speakers that are of a standard size (Upgradable....)
Add a decent spot to mount an Iphone or Ipod in the dash along with an aftermarket GPS. Compass and oil temp gauge.
Anything to keep all that crap off the handlebars!!
Hell why not add a heads up display like in the fighter jets!!
Biscotti tray? Yes, get the I-pod, GPS off the bars, trash the useless air temp gauge for oil temp (or would that be useless too?) and make the screen on the radio so you could actually see it, more contrast or brighter or whatever and better stock speakers, normal sizes........
