2009 cold idle setting?

2009 cold idle setting?

I warmed the bike up for about a minute and took off on 09 Ultra with the weather in the low 40's, the cold high idle still on, just wondering what the cold idle setting is on the 09's, and shouldnt kick down once you put the bike in gear? mine stayed in this cold idle mode for about a mile or three stops. Kinda strange. I do shut the bike off with my hand off the throttle.

My 05 softail did the same thing. Early in the mourning I would just idle down the street, shift into second and idle down the street to the stop. After that it would drop down by the next stop.

I had a 06 Ultra an never experienced this issue. I contribute it to the EPA requirements at low idle

Assuming no problems with sensors or settings, I think the idle RPM is about 1300 at 30 degrees and reduces from there to just about 1000 RPM once temps get above 150 degrees.

I know my '08 will not reduce idle speed for a couple minutes after starting in temps near freezing and dropping into gear has no affect on RPM.
