I have an 09 Ultra and am looking for highway pegs. I would like to rest my heal on the floorboards as one option and am wondering what folks like the best? Any recommends would be great! Thanks. Maggie
I got the HD 50829-07A and mounted them low and can put my heel on the board and still get to the peg. I put the Crested Bar & Shield pegs on the mount # 50576-05, they work great with the lowers and fold up next to them when not in use.
I am using these:
Adjustable Highway Peg Mounting Kit - Long Angled
Stretch out for added comfort. This chrome-plated Adjustable Highway Peg Mounting Kit can be set for shorter riders, and it can be reversed to reach far forward for those with long legs. The angled design allows the arm to reach back and around to clear fairing lowers. The arm can be raised and lowered for a custom fit. The mounting clamp firmly grips the engine guard, and the locking design secures the peg at the desired angle. Kit includes chrome-plated mounting hardware. Footpegs sold separately.
50829-07A
Fits 1-1/4" engine guards.
MSRP US $109.95
A lot of possible adjustments with these.
I used the kuryakyn long horn first didn't like them. Couldn't get the right adjustment with them with my short legs.

I did the HD short angle, with chrome and rubber pegs. I get full foot, heal on floorboard, foot above peg, heal on peg. A lot of options, and the peg folds real close to fairing. One good thing is if the bike tips over it gets the foot peg first.
