question about front end
I noticed while riding down the highway that my bars are slightly cocked to the right while riding in a straight line. Is it an easy adjustment to straighten them or is it more lkely that something is out of alignment? I'm getting the shop to install new bars for me end of this week and I'm wondering if there is another issue I should get rectified first.
TIA

I got the same thing on my Ultra and had the same thing on my 95 RK. They just were off perfect center but they drove/drive fine and there was/is nothing that can make it look perfect unless you have a real, real problem.
Otherwise, it's like a hair off from perfection of the bars/forks being centermast and I'm with you, I wish it wasn't so!

You probable bent the bars a little by lifting the bike or using tie downs, etc. and you can lift up on the right bar with the wheel locked dn to straighten. You are getting new bars so have them check everything out.

Make Sure to ask the dealer to update your riser bushings to urethane while there changing bars, they wont want to misaligne as much. They could transfer a little bite more vibs to hands (not bad) but they will last 5 times longer than the rubber ones.
thought it was just mine and didn't notice any longer. no driving or tracking issues. goes straight when I take my hands off the controls.

Many have posted this issue and I read things like crak'em hard to the left and it will straighten out (for a while) and some say loosen the pinch bolts and adjust. My worry was the drift, and I was able to correct it pretty much by just being very carefull about ballanceing the weight in the bags.
