Default SG removable rack-need help

I'm installing a removable back rest and luggage rack on my new Street Glide and can't figure out if I got the wrong kit or there is another way of mounting the antenna. The rack support goes throught the hole in the fender filler where the antenna goes through. They both don't fit. Is there a fix for this? Perhaps another place to mount the antenna or do I have to ....gulp....cut the fender filler?

Default RE: SG removable rack-need help

Had the same problem. Took that rack back and got the one that bolts to the backrest. Backrest on/rack on. Backrest off/rack off.
Good thing about the one you have is: You can run with backrest only, rack only, backrest and rack. After further review, I thought the scoot might look like it had tow rings for a water skier [sm=laughat.gif]with the mounts that you have to use with the rack you have. But if you plan on lots of long trips, that's probably the one you want --- you can add a tour pack to it at a later date. I personally like the looks of the *** end with nothing sticking out of the rear fender. [sm=smiley20.gif]
Go git ya a tune trapper for inside the fairing no matter what rack you choose. Then I payed 2 bucks for another ugly butt plug for the port side of the fender filler.
