Thanks for the info guys. I guess I finally understand why a self adjusting lifter would require adjustable pushrods. Now, can someone recommend which pushrods I should consider? There seem to be so many options.

I recently purchased the SE adjustable ( see part number in title )
for simple reason they have more flats for ease of counting (start/stop position) when bleading down and they come with the O rings as well.
Yes, there is a miriad of adjustable push rods and they cover the price spectrum from around $90.00 to .... well you know the rest.

Checked with the local dealer and they quoted 4.5 hrs at $85.00 an hour. They have a special going on right now on the SE 225 cam, installed for $729.00 plus tax. The 4.5 hours sounds about right based on the above posts, but the SE 225 cam installed doesn't sound like such a good deal. Any thoughts?
