I put these on together to see what the difference is. This is the 11" Cee Bailey compared to the 9" Harley shield. The Harley works great for me, but I wanted tinted and sportier. Just installed this morning, and haven't had a chance to try it yet. You can see that the HD is about 2" taller. We'll see what the flip does.
Thanks for posting. My 11" Cee Baileys should be here any day now. I had a 9 1/2" but really only needed an 8" windshield. Looks like their 11" will be just right for me.
I got the 13" the other day and it will get broke in on Friday when I head down to Daytona with the first 95 miles being on I-10. I'm
6'3" and the 13" seems to do OK for what little I have ridden with it on, but almost wish I had gone to the 14". Time will tell !!!
Okay, I rode all day Sunday, at various speeds. Up to 90 mph, shhhhh. The wind hits me just above the eyes. But it seems to be softened, as it doesn't push my head back. But it does play havoc with the intercom VOC. It'll work for me when not using the intercom, solo, but I think I'll also get the 13" for touring with the wifey. Hope this helps others trying to decide which one to buy. The conversion that Cee Bailey uses seems to be pretty accurate.
I believe the 12" Cee Bailey is equivalent to the 9" HD. Since you got the 11 that is probably why it looks a little shorter. I do have one question though......what are these archaic cables you have that I outlined in the red box?
Here is a link to my rkc with detachable fairing... I have a 9" Cee Bailey SSC sits about as high as a HD 6". I'm 5'8" and it works great for me. Some pictures are included in the post:
I bought the 14" due to Cee Baileys' recommendation. I wanted the 11" but was told to go up because of my height. I am 6'-1" and it puts the wind about 1" above my head, I feel like I could wear a baseball cap at 80mph and it would be fine. I like the looks of the shorter one, but for functionality, cant beat the taller.
