Aftermarket windshields and deflectors seem to be about half the price of the hd versions, are the hd versions twice as good? I'm considering switching to a black deflector for the summer. Any advice on a good brand would be appreciated.

Jim, I put the deflector on for a while. It felt good but I could not hear the radio at speed. I installed the Clearview short windshield and love it. The HD deflector is just a piece of plastic. If you go to e bay you can get one of the aftermarket ones for about $45.00.

 

I have a Memphis Shades Windsheild on my RG and it is much better quality than stock and less than half the price
