Default Relocating licence plate

Guys. Whats the best kit to relocate the licence plate on a EGS. I just hate the way it looks on that grab bar. I want to remove the grab bar and move the licence plate under the brake light but i dont want to change out the trun signals..How about some pic and some idea where to get a kit. Anybody use the one from Kuryakan for 72 bucks? or the J&P one for 44?

I don't have a Glide...but I did relocate the plate on my Road King.

I removed the grab bar, and cut it into an 'L" then welded a plate to mount where my lower bag rails connect. Relatively easy mod. Even if you don't have a welder...you can take it to a machine shop & get it all put together for less than $50.

I knida dig it...

Since I used the factory grab rail...I was able to use the mounting points that were already in place for the plate frame. I had the 'layback' frame, and the angle matches the bag almost perfectly.

Since the pics were taken, I have added a chrome plate frame that has LED's built in so that I'm all legal.

This is not the actualy frame I got (mine lights from the side)...but in doing a quick search - it's the first one I pulled-up. So you get the idea.

I had some of the little 'points' laying around. They just fill-in the space with a little cone looking deal. I have seen them on other sites since..but can't find a link (at the moment) to save my life.

Some guys use a LED to function as a running/brake light...but I couldn't find a smoked lens...and didn't care for the red.

Just put this on today. Picked it up from Idaspud here on the forum for $50. His son welds them up and I picked up an LED tag frame from Custom Dynamics as you see, still work in progress as I did a whole mess o mods today.
