Default Ultra Cigarette Lighter?
Owners manual states you shouldn't plug anything in the lighter except the cigarette lighter.

I don't smoke so it's of no use to me. I would like to charge my cell phone though.

Has anyone used it for charging your cell? Or did you mount a seperate plug in for your cell?

My ride is in winter storage yet. I am so bored that I am actually reading the owners manual!

you can plug just about anything into it. I soldered my GPS wires to the back of it. Used to use the cig adapter for it, also have plugged in mp3 player and radar detector.

It's still a power source, wouldn't see why not? I'm tapped into it for my stereo but that's about it.

Thought so! Just goes to show why men shouldn't read instructions or owner manuals. They are so misleading! LOL

Plug my cell phone but the derned charger will hit my tank if I crank the bars all the way.

I think that is the main issue. If I plug in nearly anything it will hit the tank. But inside the fairing I tapped in for my GPS.

Does it matter the size of the charger for hitting the tank? With my new bike in storage I can't picture the space?

plug and go...


You need to be real careful how large an adapter you plug into the cigarette lighter because there is a real close clearance there when you turn your bars to the extreme left.
Will leave a not so nice scratch in the tank.
