Hey all,
Been awhile since I chimed in. I got this PCII off of ebay last week and installed it this morning. It didn't go too bad until I got to the right side cover where the ECM resides. I had a heck of a time getting the cover to fit back on with those big honk'n connectors.
Anybody have a suggestion on the fitment of the cover. I'm a little afraid it might pop off when riding.
What I did was unbolt the ECM from the bike. Then zip-tied the PC to the ECM (The supplied velcro sucks). The made the electrial connection.
I then feed the wiring harness back in and down, then bolted the ECM/PC combo back in. There was plenty of room and no interference with the side cover on my RK.
I need to make a correction. Mine is a PCIIIr and my my bike is a '98 Ultra. Your install looks very clean and nice. I just couldn't come up with that much room.
I put pc on the left side above the fuses and run the wire in front of the battery box and zip tied the harnes to the ecm. secure the pc box with a dab of black silcone.
