Security question

Default Security question

Hey,quick question.If I dissconnect the battery to install a battery tender,will I have to relearn the security code or does it stay in memory?

I just installed an amp and had to remove the battery connections. The alarm retained all the info it needed.

Same here. No issues on either my '07 SG or the new Ultra.

had battery disconnected for about two weeks hooked it back up, and bike started no problems

I have an 09 Street Glide & I disconnected the battery to install new Fog Lights & everything works and it starts no problem.

If you are talking about installing the battery tender pigtail, check before you go through unhooking it, etc. Many dealers send the bikes out the door with a pigtail already installed. Yours may have one on it already.

Also, turn the switch on first then pull the Maxifuse before disconnecing battery. If you don't the alarm will remind you it is there if you have a siren installed.
