Does anybody know what HD changed between the 99 to 00 on the front end of the touring bikes? I want to chrome my forks but when looking around everybody has 00 and up forks.

The brake caliper bolt tabs are different......I did the same thing on my 99 and i just bought the 00 ones then found me the newer calipers to go with it.

Also the axle diameter is 1" on the 00, i think the 99 was 3/4 or something. I believe you can just change the bearings out to 1" and be good.
