the thing is, that deal isn't too good to be true...it's been said many times on this thread, but i'll reitterate...call a few dealers around you and you'll get a better deal than what's on ebay. i spent a couple of days on the horn and ended up w/ an 09 SG for $1k under msrp and no freight, set up or any other charges (except tax and title)...sounds like some guys are getting better deals than that.
it's a buyers market right now!!! take advantage of it while we can!!!
Where are the dealers doing deals $1000.00 to $1500.00 under msrp?
I don't know where you live, but Big Barn Harley in Des Moines, IA and Cedar River Harley in Charles City, IA will work with you. Several others around me (Cedar Rapids) wouldn't, so i had to call around.
If you spend some time and stay firm, you'll find someone that will deal.
There are a lot of people that "believe" they got a better deal then they did, but I think $1000 off msrp with no freight or set up is probably not that hard to find. Lots believe they got 2-3k off msrp but don't tell you about their trade or what they paid for freight, prep and accessories. Take it all with a grain of salt.

You got that right! I remember a guy telling me what a great deal he got but after further investigation, the great deal he got was on a leftover 2008 not an 09.
