Heres the part number that everyone seems to be ordering (2) pcs part number 59915K483g. Yes they're $11.23 per joint but they're stainless steel and the same type from MSC Direct are almost $15.00/pc so I went with these. Plus since one of their facilities is in Atlanta GA the shipping was only $6.00 to my house.
I also ordered the other parts from Fastenal and they came out to just under $6.00 but you'll have to order them since they don't carry the 5/16-24 in stock. Heres the Fastenal numbers and price each in stainless steel.
(2) 73794 5/16-24X1" Bolt Socket Cap Screw Head $1.50 each
(2) 77831 5/16-24 Jam Nut Stainless Steel $.48 each
(1) 77881 5/16-24 Nylock Nut $1.02 each
I ordered an extra Nylock Nut and the bolt originally was a hex head bolt but I wanted an allen type for mine. When I checked the parts at the local HD shop in VA the cheapest upgraded shift linkage was $129.00 and the most expensive was $162.00. At least this way I'll get the better linkage, non rattling item for less than $30.00.
If you're going to order the heim joints from McMaster Carr you might as well buy the #11105 cross reference o-ring for oil changes and get them in with the shipping.
-013 is the cross reference size for HD pn#11105. McMaster-Carr has pn#9452K57 which is a bag of 100 for $2.47 and it is a Buna-N o-ring which will work just fine. It is best to get a Viton o-ring and McMaster has pn#1201T24 which is a bag of 50 for $8.20 and these are the vitons. HD now wants $.55 for each 11105 so for 50 of those, it would be $27.50!
