I have had my Vivid Black Ultra Classic for almost 3 years now. I had a Firefighter Edition Road King before. The black is a little more work, but a Clean Vivid Black Utlra with the right amount of Chrome is stunning.
I wash mine with the Mr.Clean car wash system and use a leaf blower to get most of the water off. I usually try and hit the fairing , gas tank and tops of the bags waxed. I can get a quick coat of wax on in about 20 minutes.
I am getting ready to take off the bags and seat and clean and wax really good. I am actually looking forward to it.
A clean freshly waxed vivid black Harley cant be beat.
Hmmm, I'm 62 and almost all my bikes have been vivid black. The one exception was a cafe racer I did back in '72. How about Oil Well Orange? If it wasn't chrome it was painted Oil Well Orange.
