I ride my 08 vivid black EGC. Used to sweat over keeping it clean but finally figured as long as it ain't rusting and not so bad I am embarassed, I just ride the thing. I have never cleaned it after riding it..I wait until the weekend and clean it then. I do keep a good coat of wax on everything, makes cleaning a little easier. It does show dirt more than other colors, but I don't care.

S100 cycle wash, air compressor or cycle dryer. No fuss, no muss!

I had a Vivid black Fat Boy.
It showed every swirl mark, every tiny scatch and would get a haze on it just sitting in the garage. I will never own another Black bike again.
If you don't mind polishing it all the time, they are beautiful. Just not for me ever again..........I can't stand that haze look.
